How to Make Windows 7 Ignore a Monitor?
-
I have 3 monitors: my laptop, an external monitor and my TV. Basically I want to be able to put my laptop away in a corner somewhere and use the other two monitors all the time. However when I am watching my TV rather than using it as a monitor I wish to disconnect it from the computer (not physically). Doing this under Windows 7 is a tedious process involving going to Screen Resolution each time. If I do this several times a day I would like a quick script or something to do this for me. The ideal solution would be to have Windows+P consider my external monitor as the default monitor and to ignore the laptop monitor entirely. At the moment, "disconnect projector" would default to the laptop monitor once again. Any quick solutions anybody can think of. Thanks in advance :)
