Can I connect dual monitors through DVI and HDMI?

HDMI port to DVI port LED monitor flickers?

• I set up dual monitors on my computer, and one is VGA connected to my mobo, and the other is hdmi to DVI port. The monitors are dual Samsung Syncmaster BX2250. When the VGA is connected, it works smooth. The problem is when I connect the HDMI to DVI, boot starts fine until after the windows 7 logo pops out on both monitors. Then both screens malfunction, one is a black screen with my mouse pointer, and the other says "Check Signal Cable HDMI1". Is it because I have no video card? I thought the integrated intel hd 2000 on the CPU supported dual monitors.   Although it was supposed to be able to power up 2 displays, but I believe its one of those areas that no one ever properly tested.
