How do you connect your mac to a TV for display/monitor use?
-
I have a Macbook, Early '09, I was wondering what wires would I need to use my Samsung SyncMaster T260HD as a monitor. I know there is HDMI NI2 slot for a wire and a headphone jack, otherwise nothing.

Answer:
According to Apple's website, the early '09 Macbook (all-white casing) has a miniDVI port. If this is the macbook you have, you need to buy a miniDVI-to-DVI adapter from Apple so you can connect to the T260's DVI port. The T260 should come with a DVI cable already, but if it doesn't, you will also need to buy a standard DVI monitor cable to connect the miniDVI-to-DVI adapter to the monitor's DVI input. Hope this helps.
