Acer monitor problem.

Can someone help my problem with my Acer 17" Flatscreen Monitor?

  • I have an Acer 17" Flatscreen monitor attached as a secondary monitor to my Acer laptop. It has been working fine for just over a year now, but recently the alignment has been off by about 4". When I press the "Auto" button to realign the screen, it just goes back to where it was, with a 4 inch black space on the left of the monitor. When I go into the Menu and go to H. Position and change the setting down to 0 (the furthest left it will go), there is still a 3" gap of black space left and upon pressing "Auto" again, it jumps back to where it was before. When in the menu and I am on H. Position, I can not move the monitor to the right at all. Does anyone know if there is any way for me to fix this or has my monitor reached the end of it's life? >< XD
