MacBook Pro With Dual Monitors?

How to run 2 monitors on a macbook pro?

  • hey, ive got a macbook pro, and i was looking into buying 2 monitors for it, and run them as individual screens so i can have program windows on each side (mainly for my music productions, so i can have edit windows on one side and mix windows on the other) is there any way of doing this without having to buy some form of special adapter? will plugging a Mini-DVI to VGA into first screen, then VGA to VGA from the first screen to the second work?

  • Answer:

You need to get TripleHead2Go your MBP can only run 1 monitor besides its own since it only has one video card so i would get TripleHead2Go if you want to run two monitors off the MBP Not that i Know of you can run dual screen your mbp and external monitor with a vga dvi adapter but that will one work with one of your monitors
