How to stop adverts on my screen?

How can I stop adverts coming up behind my screen display.?

    If your trying to block pop-ups you can do this within your browser option. Internet explorer (this may be a bit different depending on which version you have) - Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy and at the bottom should be the option to block pop-ups. Firefox - Tools -> Options -> Content and the option should be at the top. If you your trying to block all advertisements I suggest you get firefox and install the Ad Block Plus add-on. It blocks 99% of all ads. Everything from images to flash advertisiting that you see while watching videos. I couldn't live without the add-on. Plus firefox is more secure and better the Internet explorer. You can block popup using google toolbar. It is free and easy to install. You can do more, Start Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Manage Ad-Ons. Now disable addons that you don't need. I think there is few adverts that you already allowed. Thanks.

1st of all go to internet options at the top of your web browser check pop up blocker is turned on if it is.then go to www.download.com and type in pop up blocker choose one of the following that suits you best. also it could be that you have spy ware on your computer so type spybot search and destroy in google download and run that too and that should fix it

Block popups. i dunno how, but itll say if you type it into google or in your pc handbook hope i helped....x ps. if you have one of those spam protector things, theres usually a option to block them. x
