Why does my computer screen crash?

  • It suddenly goes blank and won't go off. Can't close down the computer. Comes back on after I restart.

  • Answer:

    when is suddenly? can you do anything before this happens? if it happens faster after you've been youing it awhile then its the cpu fan is burned out and it shuts down to prevent the whole computer from being ruined

U didn't tell the config. well check ur all the cabling. call to vender (if under warranty) or call a mechanic it cud be the problem of internal hardware. BOl Amit

right click on the desktop -> properties -> screen saver -> Power... -> check all the power settings *especially what happens when u close the lid*
