Why is my desktop's maximum resolution smaller than my screen resolution?
-
I've recently fixed my computer which included replacing the hard drive and re-installing windows, and now I can't get my screen to the maximum resolution. My screen's maximum resolution is 1920x1080, but the maximum I can set it to in control panel is 1600x900. Why is this happening? As a note, I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.

Update your graphics card drivers, I had the exact problem as you until I updated it.
