How can I use a broken laptop as a second monitor?
-
The laptop in question is a Sony PCG-7G1M Specs: Intel pentium M 740 1.73GHZ 1GB ram (2x512mb) Nvidia GeForce go 6400 OS: windows xp However the 100gb hard drive it came with is now broken, and every time i boot it up it says "error loading operating system" So i was wondering if i could plug this broken laptop into my other laptop or desktop and use it as a second monitor? I have a VGA cable, but when i try to connect the two it just says "error loading Operating system" So it is possible to turn this old laptop into a secondary monitor? and if so, how? Thanks!

Answer:
Sorry not possible the vga port is output only on both laptops, so you can't transmit vga to a laptop HTH David
