How can I monitor another computer?

How can I configure my computer to recognize the tv as another monitor?

  • I have a VGA cable connected from the computer to the tv, and i've set the input on the tv to the correct channel, but it still doesn't recognize the connection. (It says "no signal") I know I have to configure something in the control panel, but that's where I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

    You should have a control panel for that included with your video card driver. How to configure depends on what card you have. In general, right click desktop, properties, settings, advanced. Should be a tab there for your video card settings. Look around in there.
