Easy way to put computer screen on tv screen?

i've looked it up and it told me to get this cord and it turned out the cord didn't even fit in my laptop. someone said you can do it by usb...??? please help!!

Well you need to look at the ports that come in your laptop, and your tv. This will only work if you have a newer TV with a AVI or DVI input. for best results, take a picture of the ports on your laptop, bring it in a to a computer store.. like best buy and show them it and let them tell you what to get, since it looks like you have no idea what your talking about.
