How do I flip my computer screen on a Mac?

  • I know on PC's if you press Alt+Control+Down Arrow Key the screen will flip upside down. I recently, just got a new Mac, and I was wondering if there was a way to flip the screen on Macs.

    do you have a macbook or an imac? This isn't available on macbooks, only on imacs because they have external screens. Idk why, but it's just the way it is. Supposedly if you're running tiger you can press option while selecting the display pane under system preferences. I wanted to see if it would work on mine, but since i'm running leopard, it didn't work for me.

Wrongo. It has nothing to do with the hardware. It has to do with the OS. You could put Windows(Which some dumb people think is the same as "PC") on a Mac and the shortcut would be the same. More specifically, the reason your Mac cannot do this is because it doesn't have the right graphics card. There's a specific graphics card that allows you to rotate your screen. But yeah, you can't.

A mac is not able to do that, it's just not user friendly enough for that. Sorry to say.
