Computer screen turning black?

My computer screen keeps turning black...?

• so whenever i turn on my computer the screen just stays black then when i turn the screen off, then like a couple seconds later turn it back on, the screen flashes for a few seconds then turns black does anyone know what the problem is and how to fiz it? thanks =]

  If it's a laptop, you can try to switch screens onto your external monitor and back (that usually can be done by pressing Fn + F4 buttons). But I would suggest to show it to a tech person to see if that's a hardware problem (screen needs to be replaced) or just a software. From your explanation above, it seems like a hardware issue. You could also check if your computer is on warranty.
