How to set back the display on my computer?

My computer is set reallydark i can barely see the screen. I tried the display settings . CAN SOME ONE help?

I had this same problem a few years back. Your screen is dying, near dead sounds like. You can test this theory by plugging another screen into your computer, dollars to doughnuts the alternate will work fine. Time to buy a new screen.

My best advice for you would be to buy a new monitor or a new computer in general. If it is possible to see anything in your OSD display, look for "Degauss" i believe it is. Click that and it helps out your screen display. I hope this works for you like it worked for me! Good Luck P.S. Your computer may make a funny noise when you do this. Just ignore it. Its part of the process
