Why is my screen resolution messed up?

  • I recently took fof COMODO firewall and downloaded Online Armor Free. When i did that, i restarted my computer. When it turned back on, my screen resolution looks as if its in safe mode. It wont let me change it back, and its not in safe mode. I cant connect to the internet either. Im running Windows XP Professional on a Dell Optiplex GX260.

    Restart and tap F8 key, then select Last Known Good Configuration. If that doesn't work, try a Windows system restore to before you removed the software. Try to uninstall comodo again, but restart after installing. Then try to install the other software.

Seems to me like your Armor prog might be incompatible and is having negative affects. You could try uninstalling that and putting something like Zonealarm on it - seeing as that's free as well. Does the same thing! Failing that, system restore. You'd still have to remove Armor though, as any previous restore points made before the installation will most likely render Armor useless.
