What is causing my fuzzy/vibrating computer screen?

Why is my computer getting the blue screen of death?

  • I have an Acer computer with Windows Vista. I gave my computer to someone to fix, and at first it was fine. Then later on, my computer started to get slower. At first I thought that the website I used to download music was doing this, so I scanned it (MP3Rocket) and turned out that it was actually clean, and wasn't causing it. Then later my computer would get the blue screen one day, and then work perfectly fine the next day. Should I give it again to the computer expert? I have Kapersky Internet Security btw. Could that be causing it? If so, what Internet and Anti Virus software should I install? Thank you to everyone that's answering. I really need my computer this school year, and I can't afford to lose it. So any suggestions would be fine. Thank you to anyone that helps xx

  • Answer:

If it only happened once and doesn't happen again, don't worry about it. If it happens frequently, then: Look at the first part of the error code, it looks something like 0x0000003A . You can remove the zeros after the x (i.e. 0x3A), and Google it to see what you can do.
