Computer monitor broken?

Use Laptop monitor as a monitor for a broken computer?

• Okay so i bought a hdmi cabel and relised that my tv dont have a input for a hdmi and my xbox is output so i need a way to hook up a working computer with a working computer screen to a broken computer I wants to install windows 7 on with no screen. How can i do this. Yes it is totaly broke i have no way of accessing the hard drive. no my working computer dont have a hdmi input/output. Is there any way? :(

  Can't make much use of an LCD screen of a broken laptop. You have possibilities of converting signals with an adapter, or buying an inexpensive monitor (they came down in price). I don't know whether you can get money for your broken laptop on ebay or craigslist as sold for parts. If you can give some I/O information on your TV, computer, and the xbox model, maybe there is a cheap adaptor to make this work. Money must be tight of course, so let's see how cheap it can be done even if waiting for a part from Hong Kong. Need to assure analog/digital/audio and best available video options. all possible input/outputs for audio/video or exact models. awaiting your additional input.
