How do I connect my xbox 360 to a computer monitor?
-
All I know is that they work best on things LCD's 20'' and above. What kind of cables do I need and whats a good reccomended monitor? Ill probably buy it off of amazon so if it's on there would be great too. I have a macbook pro if that means anything, but I was under the assumtion I could run it directly to the monitor.

Answer:
the only cables a 360 takes are hdmi and rca, if your monitor doesn't have either connections then you cant connect your 360 to it

You can run it to your monitor if it has HDMI input; otherwise, you can run the RCA video cables through an RCA-to-DVI (or to VGA if that's what your monitor takes) and then connect the DVI or VGA to your monitor.

You connect it via HDMI, DVI, or VGA -- whichever type of input the monitor uses, obviously.
