    Use a microfiber cloth very lightly dampened with water (a small drop on the cloth). The microfibers are very soft so they will not scratch the plastic screen and the fine fibers will pick any dirt or grime on your screen. As a matter of fact, they're soft enough to even clean DVDs and CDs with. Stay away from paper towel as they have fibers that are harder than the plastic coating on your LCD and will scratch it.

You can buy non-static cloth at computer shops or you can try the old way--get some baby talcum powder,mix with a bit of water to made a light paste,rub all over your monitor screen,than use newspaper to wipe it clean.
