What is Audio Resolution?

My screen resolution changed itself. What do I do?

• When I woke up this morning and turned on my computer, finally when the desktop loaded, the screen resolution looked oddly over sized to me. I checked where the resolution was at, it was set on 1024x768. I don't remember what my resolution was on before.. I never bothered to check, it's a decently new monitor. I've tried every option available to my monitor, but none of them are right. When I choose the 'largest' setting of 1600x1200, everything is way too small or the letters are blurry. I don't know what to do as far as getting back my original setting! I've only had my computer and my monitor for about six months, give or take, and I've never had this problem yet. What should I do? I tried choosing, "What Display Setting Should I Use?" And it says there should be one setting with '(recommended)' beside it, there isn't one. My boyfriend told me to choose my default settings, but there is no option to. The only resolution setting that even had all of the icons and text remotely clear and not blurry, was 1280x960, but that completely DOES NOT fit my screen. It's way far off on one side and is way to tall for the screen, half of it is cut out of the top. Sometimes when I choose a setting, my computer, while it's configuring to that setting, will say "Not Optimal Mode. Recommended mode 1600x900 60hz." What does this mean? Ugh, I'm so confused and frustrated. I was just on the computer the night before and the resolution was fine. Help!

  Try to return back,when everything was Ok.Do this: restart computer, on start-up keep tapping until you get a menu.Choose Last Known Good Configuration.
