Is something wrong with my monitor?

SOMETHING IS REALLY WRONG WITH MY MONITOR!!!?!??!!?

• ok so when i turned on my monitor it showed the brightness adjusting thing and the screen was dark, then it turned up to normal by itself. i tried to turn it off but none of the buttons the monitor work. i just pressed the down arrow and the brightness thing popped back up and it turned the brightness all the way down. when i press up once, it turns the brightness all the way up. i think its a virus bt how can a virus affect my monitor!!!!!!!

  No, it's not a virus, they can't affect monitor's controls like that. Most likely it's the monitor's control panel buttons or electronics that have gone bad. They might be able to be cleaned, but most likely would need to be replaced. Best of luck.
