Blue static on computer screen?

How do i prevent my computer from the blue screen thing?

  • Hello. Ok so i have a problem about my computer shutting down automatically when i run some game on all screen like call of duty. Or if someone opens webcam on skype. If i try to run call of duty (game) my screen turns black. And then theres a blue screen which says - A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. Back then my video card stopped working...So i called a master and he changed my video card to Nvidia. Now with this video card when i try to run some game or someone opens a webcam on skype it shuts down with the blue screen. Even when i open power director 3 seconds later it shows the blue screen and restarts. Also when i run my pc in safe mode nothing happens. I just run it normally with safe mode...The blue screen says that the application wasnt installed properly but everything is ok...Can someone help me in this? And sorry for my english... Thanks if you answer :) Oh and heres some strange info its showing (im not good at computers sorry) STOP :0x00000050 (0xFD946908, 0x00000000..and else..) nv4_mini.sys. I dont really understand what that means but can someone help me? :S

    The reason for the blue screen or the blue screen of death as it's commonly known as is an important safety feature that Microsoft has put in to protect your file and folders from viruses if it constantly keeps shutting down then more then likely you have a virus OR check the inside of the computer so unplug it and check if the CPU fan is still attached because last time my computer(s) kept shutting down was because of this problem as the heat it produces melts the clips and detaches the fan causing it to auto shut down

Your sytem can't handle both Call of Duty and Skype. Maybe you should try upgrade your graphic card. go to the official site of the graphic cards owners and see if there is a new update, or you can go buy a new one. Take a look at ATI or G-force graphic cards.
