How do you calibrate your monitor?
-
For weeks I have been fighting with color management and I have realized that I need to caliberate my monitor so that what I see is what prints. My printer is working fine. I have burned a cd with picture that have been edited and they look the same(over saturated) as if I were to print them. So when I edit the pictures to make them look good and save them that is not what they really look like. how do I calibrate my monitor so that I can see what I am really doing?

Answer:
http://www.photofriday.com/calibrate.php Something that I ran across in an article once. Supposedly works great. Follow ALL of the directions. Otherwise if you are serious about photo editing, software called hueyPRO is available (www.pantone.com). This one costs money, but it is an excellent tool. Good Luck.
