How do I find my PC's Native Resolution?

Where to find the resolution setting?

  • I have had my laptop for 3 weeks and already the resolution is so small some things are cut in half. I need to know how to fix this, if it's the resolution setting that needs adjusting, where to find it.

I'm not sure that its the resolution that's giving you a hard time. First thing you got to do is make sure what the problem is. Then, if it is the resolution then follow what I tell you, but is it is not than find your answer somewhere else. Go to your desktop and right click in an empty spot on your screen. Next, click on "Personalize" or "Properties" than it will ask you to change your resolution. If you have windows 7 then right click on your desktop and click on "Screen Resolution". Didn't Work? Update your drivers by searching on google or any other search engine : "(your video card name) driver downloads" I'm sure you'll find something.
