How to clean my computer's monitor and keyboard?

I would not recommend using polish as it can damage your LCD monitor. Try baby wipes like the recent poster before me stated.

For either: Use a lint free cloth (or paper towel and then dust afterwards). Microfiber is nice. The cloth for cleaning eyeglasses is very nice. A clean scrap of tshirt material is okay, just be sure it isn't linty/raveling. Slightly moisten the cleaning cloth/paper towel with: --plain water for the monitor, especially a touchscreen monitor or one with an anti-glare coating or surface, maybe a little spot-cleaning with some isopropyl alcohol (check if this leaves streaks). --isopropyl alcohol on the keyboard, not enough to drip between the keys, wipe gently, let dry. Compressed air or vacuums work, if you have them, if not, be sure to first flip the keyboard completely over and shake out the big chunks of dust. Don't let staples and paper clips get in there, it'll short out your kb. Never use any cleaners that have oils, this is only going to cause problems in the long run with smudges and attracting more dirt.

I would use a microfiber cloth with a few sprays of water on it and gently clean it. Never use chemicals on LCD monitors.

Yes, a simple wet cloth will do fine and to clean the keyboard you may want to use a can of compressed air.

i use polish have done for years and its fine
