How to put a window screen in from inside?

Help! I snuck out a window and need to put the screen back up!?

  • Okay, so my doors have alarms and i didn't wannna wake my parents, so i snuck out the window in my sunroom and i had to leave my friends early because it started to rain, and when i get into the house and lean the screen securly against the window ( somewhat in the track ) and climbed in and closed and locked the window. I was just going to fix it tommorrow morning before my parents woke up, but it's torrential raining and lightning and im scared the screen will blow away! Help!

    Was it worth it? Tell yr parents the wind blew it off last night, if nothing else works. Or bring the screen inside, doof.

Looks like you will have to go out and get wet. Don't you have dry clothes to change into?

There are usually little handle-like things that prevent the screen from moving, they have little screws on them, you can't miss them! There are usually 4 of them. They are on the left and right side of the window, 2 on each side. Which I'm sure you moved to remove the screen in the first place. Place the screen back into the window and make sure those little handles and turned in so that the screen is properly in place. You might have to tighten the screws of these little handles, so that the screen sits tight! :) Have fun!! xD

ok there should be little hinged on clasp sort of things on the side you need to push them in if thats not what the clasps are like they will be little black things you need to pull on them and let go when the screen is in the frame it happened to me i really hope this helps good luck
