Can I use Computer LCD monitor in place of T.V. with Settop box?

My sony TV has packed up. I have spare LCD monitor.I see TV programes through Set Top Box. How can I use the LCD Monitor

yes u can. i assume ur LCD monitor have VGA connector, now most of the set top box comes with a VGA connector. if your set top box has one then you can connect your monitor easily with set top box. if it doesn't have then you can to use a standalone TV tuner box along with your set top box to connect the monitor. standalone TV tuner box r made to convert computer monitor into TV. if tour Set top box have composite, A/V, RF, signal out connect any one with TV tuner box and connect the monitor with the TV tuner box.

If ur lcd monitor has the same connection as ur set off box then just connect them. if it does not try getting a converted wire or a tv tuner card.
