How do i clean my macbook screen?

    Dear friend, Do not use Windex or similar household cleaners. Just a damp washcloth or paper towel will do the trick. It should not be dripping wet. NO SOAP! Alcohol swabs / napkins used for cleaning camera lenses work great! They are the best solution I have found. I use them not just for the screen, but the keyboard and entire casing of my MacBook Pro! DO NOT use glass cleaner! Either use special stuff like the first guy said or 50% alcohol + 50% water mix on a cloth (just enough to get it a little wet, you don't want it running down the screen.) Then lightly clean the screen.

They sell cleaning kits on Apple.com. DON"T use windex. I did that and it left bad streaks.

common houseld glass cleaner on a soft cotton cloth such as an old Tee shirt. spray the clearner on the cloth, not the screen to prevent the cleaner from getting in side the display.
