How to calibrate my new monitor?
-
I got a new monitor and I want to mess with the diff settings for ex: "Native Gamma: 1.60 Target Gamma: 2.20 Chromaticities: Red Phosphor: x=0.646, y=0.343 Green Phosphor: x=0.321, y=0.612 Blue Phosphor: x=0.147, y=0.066 Native White Point: x=0.313, y=0.329 6479deg K, appr. Target White Point: 6170deg K" How do I do that? I'm running windows XP professional. If theirs not a option, whats a good(free) software that can do it?

Answer:
The only way to calibrate monitors accurately is with a hardware device. Otherwise, all you can do is fiddle with the default settings and see if it looks better or worse.
