How can i hook my xbox 360 up through my laptop?

Help how can I hook up my xbox 360 to display on my laptop's LCD screen?

Can someone help me please I just bought one of those xbox 360 to vga cables and my laptop doesn't want to play, I don't know what to do but if there's any other way i can use my laptop screen as display for my xbox 360 please let me know. (Serious Answer's Please).

You cannot use your Laptop screen as a display for your XBox 360. The VGA port on your laptop is built to send out a VGA signal from your laptop to a monitor. It is NOT built to receive a VGA signal from an outside source. You can only connect your XBox 360 to a standalone display that has a VGA port with that cable, not to a laptop.
