A complete screen.

Answer:
Kathy, if you are on a P.C. not a Mac, First try to hold down the Ctrl key and tapping the + key to enlarge it. If it won't change then it is either the monitor or your graphics. You can try another monitor or your T.V. if you have the cable for a T.V. hook up. Obviously if another screen or the T.V. look the same, it's your graphics.

Your description is rather vague so i'll answer it from a few different angles. If the outer edges of your monitor shrink in, then your monitor is dying. If the entire screen is being used but it's getting smaller, then it's your graphics driver.
R B pretty much summed it up.
