So how does the vibration in a phone actually work?

Can i fix my phone screen?

  • I have a Motorola Droid and the screen on it isnt working anymore. A couple weeks ago i had dropped it and had the same problem and i could put pressure on the screen and i could get the screen to come back on and it was fine for a while. Last night i dropped it and now the pressing the screen thing wont work. The phone itself works perfectly fine, i can recieve notifications, answer calls, and put in my security pattern (while feeling the vibration from it.) I think it's just a problem with the screen. What do you think? If i ship it to a phone fixing place will i only need a new screen for it? Thanks.

  • Answer:

It isn't cheap, a good $150-$200 easy to replace the screen... If you send it into a 3rd party company, then they usually don't cover any damage that they may cause to it. If it is cheaper to buy a new phone (if your contract is up, or even within a month of being up), then it may just be worth it spend the money on a new phone. If it's within $50-$100 of the replacement cost. Hope I Helped!

They should be able to fix it, but I am not sure about just the screen. Do you have insurance on it through Verizon?
