I think my monitor went bad?
-
I recently have had trouble with my monitor. I'm using an old monitor, but I would really like to have my old one back because its a lot better. Everytime I plug the monitor in,(tried it on two different computers, same result) the image comes up for 3 secs, then the monitor goes dark...yet if you look close you can make out the fact that its still show the image, but its so faded and dark. I tried messing with the color and such, but that has no affect. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem, and if there is an easy fix before I give up on it. Thanks for your time.

Answer:
Sorry, but your monitor is gone. I've replaced both CRT and flat panel monitors for the exact same cause. Your only hope is that its still under warranty.
