The problem with Screen or PC?

Problem connecting LG screen to IBM netvista PC?

I have tried to connect these 2 items. Turned on, windows screen appeared, then a blue screen with writing flashed up and then turned off and restarted itself. Eventually started in safe mode-no problems. Uninstalled video drivers as suggested elsewhere. Will now run except screen is too big horizontally and vertically making web pages impossible to read. Changed settings so size is fine but now can't see photos or read things as colour and definiton poor. Reinstalled video drivers from intel as per other suggestions but same problem now happening. Can only start in safe mode. Can anyone help? Please....
