What is a display my computer wont let me download a display driver until i hook a display to my computer?

i have a bad display driver ive got the hardware in a download of a display driver...the download says you need another display hooked up before it will download...... i hooked up a cammra that didnt work..............the download says another display................so what is a display???????????

i would try hooking up another monitor to the machine, and see if that helps with your problem. more details about the equipment you are running would be helpful. i hope this helps!

Assuming you mean your video drivers. Did you make sure you downloaded the correct ones? Usually video drivers detect what kind of board you have in you computer, if it doesn't match it will end and say, "display adapter not found" or something like that. Make sure you download the correct ones and for the correct operating system.
