What is this mischievous problem?

Does anyone know what problem my Computer has? It shut down on its own and said it had a Blue Screen problem.?

  • I wa sjust on my computer, then it shut down, turned it back on, said, to start the computer differently, and it'll fix the problem, I did it, a blue screen came out, talked about a problem so it said it shut down the system. The i clicked on problem details when I finally got it working, and it said the problem was called Blue screen. Ive had this before, it eventually reached the problem where my computer wouldnt turn on at all, can someone plz tell me whats going on with it and what I can do to fix it. Thanks everyone^^

    Either the System Registry is messed up or Windows has failed to load/initialize a driver/hardware. The blue screen came up maybe to warn you about the problem for it might cause more serious problems. If you have just installed a hardware, turn the power off, unplug it and try to boot again. If it still fails, boot in Safe Mode and uninstall the driver/software you just installed that might have caused it and then reboot. If it again fails, go back to Safe Mode and try System Restore. Hope this helps.

i can be a number of things. bad RAM(seems more likely to me since it developed over time). a faulty hard drive or a bad video card. also some times a bad windows install can cause this as well as bad drivers. there is usually an error code something like 0x000023 if you can find that number in the report then you can look it up in google or bing and get a better description of the problem
