What kind of extra monitor can I install to my m1210?

LCD monitor/ TV to my PC ... cable and graphic card problem!?

• hi , i got a PRINCETON VL 1916 which is a monitor /TV i guss, but unfortunatly it has a DVI-D 24 pin cable that my computer doesnt have, i mean i cant connect it to me PC, so i use the VGA cable the basic monitore cable, but the qulity is horrible, ok so what kind of graphic card should i get and can i install it my self? im not really good with computers! please recommend a good/ cheap one thanks!

  Hiya B, YES, if the TV has a DVI input then almost any adapter with DVI out would work. It is rare to see a TV input that would not accept the DVI-I standard that is used the most. You did not mention what type of graphics slot is available in your PC or maybe you do not know. Here are links to one of each type; PCI-X; AGP; and PCI. The PCI would be compatible with almost all PC computers regardless of the motherboard type. Also, you might be able to use a small VGA to DVI adapter, but if you already hooked up and got a bad picture then a new display adapter would be a good idea.
