My screen resolution is off, i change it under my computer and restart, but it goes back to really big HELP!!!

it is set on the lowest resoution so everything is really really big, and i move the bar to the middle, restart, everything looks fine then the screen goes black and everything becomes big again, i have uninstalled everything from the internet and most of the other programs, anyone got any ideas?

you didn't say if you had internal video or a graphics card. Either situation, first reinstall the "VGA controller", then reinstall the graphics card drivers or internal drivers.

set the screen resolution suitable to your monitor. see how it is going on before u apply it. after u think it fixed then apply the screen.
