What wire can I use to connect my PC to my TV?

Do you get an adapter that you can connect a pc moniter wire to the tv using the yellow,white and red sockets?

    Red and white are audio, the yellow is called composite video. Composite video is not capable of hi-res though so you'll be stuck with a practically useless 640 x 480ish resolution. Don't bother.

you probably can but nowadays people normally use a VGA cable to connect to a tv, so you can use the tv screen as your monitor. If your tv and computer have ports on them which are coloured blue then you should probably get a VGA cable.
