TV and a monitor for a mac?

Mini mac & warfedale tv/monitor?

  • I got a mini mac and a warfedale monitor and when we hooked it all up there was only sound coming from the mini mac, which is quite quiet and not the best quality, we got told we need some sort of cable to connect the monitor to the mac as the monitor has built in speakers but we're not sure what kind. does anyone have any idea ??

    Yes you need to connect the sound output from the mac mini to the monitor via a separate cable. Which will them come through the inbuilt speakers on your Warfdale Monitor. You will probably need a 3.5mm stereo jack to jack lead. But without knowing the model of the warfdale I couldn't say for sure. Tell the model of the monitor I will look it up and tell you what cable you will need to connect it to your mac.

i bought mine at walmart for $7. it has a small jack on one end that would look like a headphone plug and on the other end the red and white audio inputs. plug the headphone-like jack into your mac mini and the white/red to an audio in on your tv. heres one online and an example pic for you to look at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812149118
