How Much Does It Cost To Repair The Screen of a HP Pavilion g6s series?

  • My little cousin step on my Laptop Screen on Black Friday and it cracked. The computer still works but the screen is cracked. I want to know how much would it cost to fix the screen. I wont pay over a Hundred dollars because I could just buy another computer if I am paying for than a Hundred. What is the most efficient way to repair it?How much would it cost to repair it.

Laptop displays aren't exactly cheap: you can expect to pay at least 100 dollars for the display alone, then you have to add in repair and shipping costs. You should, however, still be able to use the computer by plugging in an external monitor and using the machine somewhat like a semiportable desktop computer. Please remember that building new laptops takes a LOT of energy, and it's always better to use an old machine (not too old however; if it's older than 5 years, ditch it) for as long as possible instead of throwing it away and buying a new one every two years (the same goes for smartphones, by the way). If you do discard the laptop, please take it to a recycling center or something. Laptop components are pretty hazardous.
