Windows 7 Screen Resolution Problem?

  • i have intel GAM 3150 and its recommended resolution is 1024x768 with this I cant play online games because most of the online games recommend 1280x1024 screen resolution. when im about to change it to that kind of resolution an error willl pop up and says " windows could not change to this resolution . try another resolution " can anyone help me? im a window 7 ultimate users and 32 bits . thanks for further help.

    It's your graphic card bottleneck. There's no way you can do that, graphic cards have their max resolutions, if you try to surpass it it won't do

It's not your graphics card nor your OS. The problem is that you monitor is not capable of displaying at that resolution which is why your OS wouldn't permit you. You need to change to a better one.

Simply RED

run windows 7 update advisor and you probably find "Ultimate" is over taxing your resources, and you better off with "Home Premium". Unless your using all the bells and whistles of Ultimate, your over taxing your resources and hardware.

Right Click on Desktop, Click on Screen Resolution and change the resolution. It's work.
