How do I use my TV as Second Monitor?

• Ok so I've been trying to figure out how to use my TV as a second monitor. I think I figured out a setup that will work, All my TV has Is an S-video input but I computer doesn't, SO I bought a VGA (Male) to S-video (Female) and am going to buy a S-video Male to Male cord and hook it up to where it's VGA to S-video. Would that work? The only thing that concerns be is that my TV doesn't have a AV channel, So how would that work? Thanks for the help!

  That will NEVER work, no matter how many times you ask. Those VGA-S-vid adapters are intended for video cards that have a specially-built VGA port capable of sending out an S-video signal. It will NOT work with just any VGA port. Your computer's VGA port is NOT one of those specially-built ones, which is why that adapter you bought won't work and never will.
