How to clean my Macbook screen?

How do I get my Macbook Pro to play DVDs full screen on a second screen?

  • I downloaded OS X Lion a few days ago and went to watch a movie on the second screen that is hooked up to my macbook pro. Instead of going to full screen on my TV, the movie moved itself back onto my computer and filled my second screen with a gray picture. Why does it do this, and is there any way to play a DVD on a second screen in full screen? I have tried mirroring but the movie will not fill my TV screen like it used to with the old system because it is limited to the shape of my computer screen.

  • Answer:

When you go to Display in System prefs you don't get it on both Macbook Pro and TV? If you do change it there! And you may have to move your menu bar over to your TV to play DVD's there!

You should have something like "projection options" The only thing I can think of is to have your TV display the image only, and not your laptop. Is there a setting that allows you to completely turn of the laptops display, but allows you to keep the display on the tv? that may work
