How to refresh the Properties Window programatically?

What happen to my properties? Its window XP?

• when u right click your main screen, it will appear refresh, arrange items and the last one will be properties right at the bottom right? i clicked properties, it only appear the word theme only can choose them where by before that , it shows theme, followed by desktop, screen saver, appearance then settings. But mine only appear theme nothing else.. anyone knows what happen?

  First I would scan the computer for virus/malware If you are clean and you have administrator account try this Start > Run >regedit > OK Now locate to the following location:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System Look in the right pane for a value called NoDispBackgroundPage. If it exists it should be set to 0 (zero). And if you don't have this file at the right pane Then open up a command prompt (cmd.exe from "run") and enter the following; REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer" /V ClassicShell /T REG_DWORD /F /D 0 This should sort out your problem, On the string above don't leave space on Microsoft\windows and policies\Explorer. I had to do that so I can post the whole string.Yahoo don't let you post a long word without space.
