How to buy a decent monitor?

How do i know which monitor to buy?

  • Hi last night my monitor fell and its a LCD screen, on the right hand side the image is all messed up because of a crack in it, so i want to buy a new monitor but i dont know which one will work on my computer

    Pls add more details about your pc... anyways.. i recommend you get an lcd they are much better for your eyes and the quality is great. If your on a budget try the Dell 1909 -19-inch TFT Rs.7,300 or any ViewSonic I personally recommend the dell cause of its great quality and customer care If you want Mid-Range try ViewSonic VX2245wm 11,800 And if u want high-end or workstations try Dell E248WFP -24-inch TFT Rs.22,000 So hope this helped Athul...

sorry to hear that your monitor has a crack in it...fortunately for you, you can buy any type of CRT or LCD monitor to replace it. i would recommend LCD as the prices are fairly low these days. be aware of whether or not the monitor has a VGA or DVI adapter. most likely it is VGA, but if you need DVI you can always purchase a VGA to DVI converter. i wish you all the best of luck in your monitor shopping and may your new one be crackless!!!

If your pc is recent (last 2 years) then any LCD about 19 inch should work fine.
