Why does my computer screen keep turning black after its been idle to long.?
-
okay several times because of my lazy family. i get called away to do this run trips up and downstairs. get something out of the garage.. take care of my sisters kids cause shes a fail parent... anyways i dont have a screen saver so it goes black after being idle.. lately when i shake it out of idle state it comes back on dark screen.. turn it off.. turn it back on.. and it comes back to normal.. today i turned it off turned it back on.. it goes dark (as in back in idle state) and i had to force restart to get rid of this. whats going on with my screen? or is it the screen?

Answer:
there have been issues in the past with W7 monitors not coming out of sleep. That seems to have been resolved so u may need to insure that all ur drivers and windows updates are installed. - especially video adapter.
