Why does a video play the picture but has no sound?

Why do i have only a green screen when i try to play the video. i get the sound, but no picture.?

we're going to need more info, what are you playing, are u online playing, do u have java updated, etc.

That's because you have the audio codecs but not the video codecs need to watch the movie...More than likely the format is either Xvid or DivX... Download and install Klite Codec Pack Full...then you'll be able to watch and hear the movie as well...This codec pack is a must as far as I'm concerned... http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

i think that there is problem with your VGA card i have that problem before trust me or there is another thing with your computer

You should update your multimedia software to fix the problem,Specially Windows media player.
