Does anyone know a good site about solid waste?

Anyone know where to find the download for a display driver for emachines model 3260.?

  • Daughter got a virus and it wiped all her pc.Have managed to format and install Windows XP pro but the display driver needs installing.Her monitor looks like it is on safe mode!Does anyone know where I can find it as the emachines web site is a waste of space!.

First download everst hme edition and install it after that run it and find your motherboard's name and when you have got it go to google search and the type- Your motherboard's name+display driver+download.Good Luck.

I don't know, but it is almost certainly on the eMachines website (I presume it's a laptop) somewhere. eMachines may have more than one website and the drivers may not be on the main site. I had the same problem finding drivers for an old laptop I bought just last week: The Toshiba website didn't seem to have any drivers for it (it's over 10 years old) but after a bit of hunting I found all the software in the archive on the European website.

From what I found the 3260 has a Intel Extreme Graphics card at base model. Go to intel's website and try drivers there. I did not find "Extreme" drivers only Express on their website. Choose Graphics > Desktop graphics controllers For list of Intel graphics drivers. Maybe try the Express drivers under the archived section? http://downloadcenter.intel.com/
