Why does my computer screen keep turning off and on? best answer 10 POINTS?

whenever i turn on my computer my computer screen will turn off and on then it will just turn off then i have to keep pressing on to keep the computer screen on and then it turns back off and it makes this weird beeeeeppppp noise, i have to press my computer screen off and on like hundreds times so my computer screen can stay on its so annoying plz help? and if u say do virus scan how the hell do u do that? sorry im not really good and technology.

sounds like nothing to do with the monitor. Your Graphics card is Incorrectly fitted. Remove it and refit it properly.

Jst try with booting from removable media.(don't format) if this time not showing any problem as before go for formatting. If the problem do exists with booting with removable drive..den there are loose connections with your hardware devices ..try fixing graphics card,monitor adapter.
